YOGA

What are you doing to stay sane? For me that probably has to be yoga sounds dumb but the benefits are endless. I simply stretching out for five minutes a day helps relieve tension in your body and just allows yourself to focus on something other than what is going on in the world. Since my return from my spring break I have made it a goal to myself to wake up every morning and dedicate five minutes to stretching and discovering my center. Yoga has been around for years so why now why me. Personally I have noticed a lot of improvement are not only my physical appearance but my daily mentality and my motivation. Stretching and doing yoga helps release positive endorphins throughout your body causing an energy surge and your happy chemicals to arise. not only that, since I have started this journey I have noticed myself becoming more devoted to my studies in life at home. Throughout my two weeks I have also noticed weight loss from the contracting of different types of muscles in the body you didn’t even know you had. Yoga is also proven to boost your immune system, making it easier to stay in shape. These times can be dark and distracting, making it hard to even get out of bed at some times. Lowering Your blood pressure, Improving your sleep, reducing chronic pain and many other advantages of this. So if you find yourself bored looking for something to do to just take a reality break just take five minutes to stretch out and breath, at the end of the day that’s the only thing getting us through, each breath we take.
