The last couple months of my lifetime I have not only been a living hell but I have taught myself who I want to be and how to achieve that. With the passing of my dad a weight was lifted, not having to worry about the small things and how he was doing. I learned that things take time and in order to do things right you have to allow yourself to open up and look at things a different way. That doesn’t mean changing your whole views on things, it is as simple as trying to find the good in each day. When you wake up in the morning you make a choice. Good or bad these choices determine on the type of day you will have. To me this quarantine stuff feels like it’s never going to end, hang in there. Think about the people who have crippling depression or bad family lives at home, the kids who don’t get food or don’t have access to the Internet. I know I am lucky and I am thankful for everything that I have and everything that I am. Take the time to just reach out to an old friend and say hi and ask not what they’re doing but how their heart is, it’s the little things in life that make the difference. It doesn’t seem like it but we are all in this together. We have to remain strong to survive and thrive after all this is over. It’s sad but that’s life like I said shit happens.
